あらすじ
竜二（柳楽優弥）は、弟分の直（萩原利久）とひろし（JUNON）とともに、義理や人情の世界に生きていたが、まり子（川栄李奈）と出会い、そこから足を洗うことを決意する。守りたい＜2つの家族＞の間で葛藤する竜二、竜二への思いをそれぞれに巡らせるまり子、直、ひろし。究極の愛と絆の物語。
STORY
Ryuji (Yuya Yagira) lives in a world ruled by loyalty and honor together with Nao (Riku Hagiwara) and Hiroshi (JUNON), two younger men who look up to him. However, after meeting Mariko (Rina Kawaei), he decides to leave that world behind. Caught between the two “families” he wants to protect, Ryuji struggles with his choices, while Mariko, Nao, and Hiroshi each confront their own feelings toward him. A powerful story of love and royalty.

1983年に公開され、時代を超えて語り継がれてきた伝説の名作『竜二』をリメイク。主演は、圧倒的な存在感と演技力で国内外から高い評価を受け続ける柳楽優弥。共演は、妻・まり子役に川栄李奈、竜二を慕う二人の弟分に萩原利久、JUNON（BE:FIRST）。監督は、丁寧で繊細な人物描写と確かな演出力で数々の話題作を世に送り出してきた水田伸生。オリジナル映画へのリスペクトとともに、『RYUJI 竜二』としてリメイク。
