あらすじ
本当に気球が好きな人、ただ淋しさを紛らわしたい人、友達や家族を探しにきた人。さまざまな想いを抱いた若者たちが集ったサークル「気球クラブ～うわの空～」。月日が経ち、バラバラになったメンバーが再び集まったのは、皮肉にもリーダー・村上の事故死がきっかけだった。故きリーダーを偲ぶ大宴会。だが、彼らは気付いていた。これが最後の、一夜限りのバカ騒ぎだということに。
STORY
With his passion for ballons,Murakami formed a balloon culb called "Daydream"with his girl friend Mitsuko.Young people who joined the balloon club joined for different reasons: People joined because of their passion for balloons, others joined the balloon club for interaction and the chance to meet new parthers. Five years later, Jiro, one of the members of the club, heard the news of Murakami's death. Although "Daydream" had already broken up, members of the club gathered again to commemorate Murakami, the leader of "Daydream". Everybody shared their fondest memories of the balloon club and revealed their feelings to each other. Jiro understood Mitsuko's feelings towards Murakami for the first time. The balloon culb, "Daydream", not only brought people together for their passion of balloons, but created relationships of friendship and more to the members of the club.

鬼才・園子温が荒井由美の名曲「翳りゆく部屋」をモチーフに描いた青春群像劇。
